At the Chuematt junction, turn left and follow the markers uphill to the \u00dcssere Alp. To the south lies the next point, the T\u00fcfengrat, where you can enjoy a wonderful view of Lake Brienz. Head back a short distance, then take a wide arc northward around the \u00dcsseri Alp, following the markers at the same elevation to the next signpost. The final ascent is steeper and zigzags up to the B\u00e4rghuis Sch\u00f6nb\u00fcel.
