First, follow the concrete road downhill for a short distance to Alp Dundel. Follow trail marker No. 575 (Butterfly Trail) to reach Dundelegg. Climb up the distinctive mountain ridge to reach R\u00fcckenegg and, a little further on, the popular viewpoint on the M\u00e4ndli (2,056 m). To the north, the Sarneraatal valley lies at your feet. Looking south, you\u2019ll see the Bernese Alps at their most beautiful. In the same direction, you\u2019ll spot the B\u00e4rghuis in its wonderful setting. You\u2019ll reach it in no time via the Biet.
